It’s a New Year!

It’s been a while since we have posted but we are so excited about the things that 2011 is going to bring!

2010 ended with a BANG as we had the opportunity to serve at a local church, Warren Baptist, by leading worship for their WinterVent 2010! It was an awesome 3 night event, and God showed up in a BIG way! We hope to get to hang out with them again soon!

2011 is already looking to be a busy year! We have booked 5 events for Feb/March and continue to get booking inquiries weekly. We still have some weekends available in April and May, so if you have any dates you’re considering, please let us know soon! When it comes to booking, we have decided to make it simple and put the compensation that we typically receive as a band for different events on our website under “Booking.” This is what it requires for us to travel and take time off from our “regular” jobs. Our goal is MINISTRY through WORSHIP but we also have families to support. We are so thankful to all the doors that God has opened and all the incredible people that we have been fortunate to meet. We are looking forward to an INCREDIBLE 2011!

M-FUGE 2011 Charleston will be here before we know it, and we continue to ask that you will pray that God does BIG things in the city of Charleston this summer! we want to come see you + updates

We have been getting back into the swing of things at our home church, True North, following an awesome, but very long summer @ M-FUGE Charleston. We have been so excited to see the way God is moving people in North Augusta, SC. We are unbelievably blessed with an amazing pastor and church, people who seek the Lord with their whole hearts, and with unbelievably talented musicians that we are blessed to lead worship with weekly. Also, as a band things have slowed down for us this fall. Coming off a very intense summer of worshiping through music 7 days a week, coming back home has offered some adjustments. We still feel confident that God has given us our talents to glorify His name, and we will continue to seek His perfect will for our ministry. As of right now our guitar player, Chris, that has been with us since the very beginning 4 years ago has stepped down so he can focus on his college career and work, as he prepares to get married next Spring. We wish him absolutely nothing but the best and we hope he’ll still play with us from time to time. We are still lucky to get to lead with him on Sunday mornings @ church, and that as always, is a blessing.Please pray for Chris as he embarks on a new chapter of his life! We know God has nothing but BIG plans for him and the amazing talents He has given Chris.

As of now we have a few things planned for this fall, but you will notice that the calendar is pretty empty. If you have any events that you may be in need of a worship leader/band, please let us know. We will do our very best to make it happen!

We feel very blessed by all the support we have received from our fan base and home church! Please continue to pray for us as we begin to plan and pray for SUMMER 2011 @ M-FUGE Charleston. We are already looking forward to another incredible summer!

SO much has been going on the last few weeks. Here are a few updates!

One of the BIGGEST things you can do to help us right now is to buy our album. If you can’t, and definitely if you do, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE write us a review. You don’t have to put your name, and you don’t have to buy the CD to review it. The more reviews we can get, the more exposure we’ll get. This is a VERY easy way you could help us out! the CD is DONE!

Wow! It is so hard to believe that the album we have been working so hard on is FINALLY complete. All we are waiting on is for the actual printed discs to arrive in the mail!

On Wednesday, we headed to Nashville with Swaff (our producer/engineer) to get the CD mastered with Richard Dodd- the final step before pressing!

We were honored to have Richard Dodd mastering our album…because (not to name drop) he has worked with some pretty well-known artists including… Tom Petty, Mercy Me, David Crowder, NewBoys, Green Day, Third Day, Dixie Chicks, Chris Tomlin, Mute Math, Casting Crowns, Martina McBride…the list goes on and on and onnnnnn…. OVERDUE UPDATE…

Hey Everyone!

Things have been CRAZY lately as we have been finishing up recording and preparing for camp! Time is flying by…and we will be leaving for camp training in just 2 weeks…and camp starts in 4 weeks! We really hope we will get to meet some of you guys @ M-Fuge Charleston!!!

So…here are some updates:

*CD recording is done…now we are in mixing and will be headed to Nashville this week for a mastering session with Richard Dodd. Next…the CD’s will be pressed and HOPEFULLY will be filling YOUR ears with some AWESOME music!

*Until NEXT WEDNESDAY MAY 12th we are PRE-SELLING our new CD “Unshakable Love”…and if you purchase the pre-sale, you will get a digital copy of the CD FREE BEFORE the CD is released to the public…meaning YOU will hear the tracks the same day WE hear the final tracks! Youth Revival @ Rocky Hock Baptist-Edenton, NC

We had an incredible weekend with the Youth and families of Rocky Hock Baptist Church in Edenton, NC. Our days were filled as the Youth Minister, Tracey and his wife Kim, along with their kids Tucker and Taylor showing us all around the Outerbanks of NC, Jockey’s Ridge (largest migrating sand dune on East coast! It was HUGE!),  some local favorite restaurants, downtown Edenton,  and “Phil the Farmer” showing us around the farm! Our evenings were full of awesome worship and messages from speaker Chris Allen.

SPECIAL THANK YOU to The Smiths, Byrums, Nixons, and Nobles for showing us around and allowing us to stay in your home! Also, THANK YOU to Michael McFadden of Midtown Church in Columbia, SC for filling in as our drummer this weekend!

Revolution Weekend @ FBC Sandersville

We had an AMAZING weekend hanging out with the Youth and adults from First Baptist Church in Sandersville, GA! The people in Sandersville are so friendly and we really enjoyed all the true southern hospitality! Thanks Jeff for being awesome, as always!

Also, special thanks to Blake Merritt, who played drums for us this weekend and Swaff who filled in on bass!

recording-update 3

We’re almost done with the tracking for the CD!

Swaff, Chris, and Joseph worked hard this week tying up loose ends with guitars and laying down vocals for 6 songs! As the end of tracking gets nearer (Joseph will work more on vocals next week…) we are getting PUMPED UP for you guys to hear this album! We really hope you will enjoy listening to it as much as we have enjoyed making it! But most of all, we hope that God will truly be glorified through this album. Praying that it brings His message of hope and love to His people…

update: recording part 2

Recording for our new CD is going great! Since the last time I updated, Chris has recorded some awesome guitar parts, and Jared has recorded keys and synth. We also had a guest string player add to some of the tracks.

We cannot WAIT for ya’ll to all hear it! Here are a few pictures from the last couple weeks…more to come soon!

*We are finalizing plans for our CD Release Concert. It will be in May, but we are working on details! Keep checking back here or on Facebook for more details!*

In the next month, we will doing 2 D-Now’s – One here in Augusta @ Hillcrest Baptist and one in Sandersville, GA at FBC Sandersville. In April we will be heading to Edenton, NC to Rocky Hock Baptist! We can’t WAIT to meet everyone who will be there!
