We had an INCREDIBLE weekend leading worship and hanging out with the youth and adults that attended the First Baptist Church of Water Valley’s D-Now weekend! God’s word was brought to us by Brandon Hembree, one of the Centri-Kid pastors from 2009, and we enjoyed EVERY minute of serving with him! We also had a special visitor, Clark Gwaltney, our Centri-kid pastor from 2009! Great to see you Clark!
To all the kids from Water Valley, we hope that you will remember the things you learned from Brandon this past weekend, and we hope that you will not forget the hearts that were changed by God! Continue to pray for your friends, and seek and live out God’s plan for your life!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.” Jeremiah 29:11-13
2009 was an amazing year for us as! We all grew musically and spiritually, and we were honored to minister through worship to hundreds throughout the year. THANK YOU to everyone who helped make our year an incredible one!
We are looking forward to a busy and exciting year ahead! We will be traveling a good bit and working on our first full length CD at Swaff Studio’s in Atlanta, GA. The CD is set to be released late April or early May! Make sure you check back often for more information! Also, we will be spending our summer with the Youth and leaders at Lifeway’s M-Fuge/X-Fuge camps @ Charleston Southern in Charleston, SC! Looking forward to what God has in store for everyone who will be there!
Please continue to keep us and our ministry in your prayers as we kick off an exciting year!
So I was cleaning out my email today and I ran across a recording of us playing We Shine at our home church, TrueNorth and decided to share it with you. Just click the play button below…ENJOY!
We are exited to announce that we will be leading worship for Lifeway M-FUGE and X-FUGE Camps this upcoming summer of 2010! We will be leading worship at the Charleston Southern location all summer. God has truly blessed us with this opportunity to not only lead in worship through music but to also go out and serve the local community in Charleston, SC through various projects such as construction, yardwork, painting and children’s ministry. I want to go ahead a give a shout out to all the students who will be attending M-FUGE camp next summer. We think it’s awesome that you guys and girls are willing to give up a week of your summer to help people in need who you probably don’t even know!
If you will be attending camp at the Charleston location leave us a comment and let us know! We would love to meet you before we meet you (I guess that makes sense…). We are looking forward to getting to know all of you and working along side you to show Christ’s love and make an impact for the cause of Christ!
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
“The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:40
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritualact of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you. Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to hisfaith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully. Romans 12:1-8
W-O-W! We are STILL overwhelmed and feeling super blessed from this past weekend spent in High Point, NC with the people of Crossover Community Church! Our weekend was filled with good food, great people, and awesome worship!
We would like to give a SPECIAL THANK YOU to our host homes: John and Michelle; Jeff and Tammy Smith (and Owen!) and Neil and Leslie Grimes (and Ben!). You guys truly blessed us with your hospitality!
*As many of you know, we have been praying and preparing to head into the studio in January to begin working on our second CD- our first full length album. As most of you also know, recording and producing a CD is very expensive, and we have been praying for God to affirm our desire to move forward in our ministry. This past weekend in North Carolina, through an overwhelming donation, our finanacial need to begin the recording process was MET!!! We will never forget the selfless gift that was given to us, the gift which affirms God’s plan for our lives. We now know that God has each of us right where were are supposed to be!
*WE CANNOT SAY THANK YOU ENOUGH to this particular person, along with EVERYONE from Crossover who encouraged us and supported us through purchasing pre-sale CD’s and other merchandise and through giving to the love offering. We will continue to keep your church in our prayers, and we cannot wait to see you guys again!

We just returned from our trip to First Baptist Water Valley in Mississppi for their “Saw You at the Pole Rally” and WHOA was it a trip! The rally was AWESOME and we TOTALLY rocked out and celebrated our Lord and Savior in a BIG BIG way! With the help of a great message by “Wilsey” and the organization of an incredible youth pastor, Hal Clark, the night was truly a success!
However… getting there and back was a different story. God was TRULY watching over us. On the way, we had a 3 1/2 hour delay attempting to find an alternate route through Atlanta on Tuesday night. Interstate I-20 was closed and almost all of the detours were closed due to flooding. PLEASE keep the families in Atlanta in your prayers and those that have lost friends and family members. The flooding is A LOT worse than it looked like on the news…the water literally looked like RIVERS running across roadways. Very scary. God protected us and kept us safe, as that very night, on those residential roads, a man lost his life when his car was swept away by the flood waters.
On the way home, in Atlanta, our trailor lost a tire on interstate I-20. God was also watching out for us here because if we had been in any other lane than the far left, the tire could have caused a serious accident. This caused a 5 hour delay in Atlanta…and God watched out for us as Bryan repaired the tire and got us safely on the way home.
Despite all of the evil that tried to creep into our trip, we had a BLAST and cannot wait to go back to Water Valley! Hal, thanks for showing us a great time! And to everyone there, You ROCKED!
Just wanted to check in and give you guys a quick update!
We will be heading to Water Valley, MS for the See You At The Pole Rally THIS Wednesday and we are PUMPED!!!
